Mission Statement
People’s Express transportation service is mission driven to provide day to day mobility access for the low-income, unemployed and under-employed, the disabled, older adults, single family head of households and those with special needs in the townships of Washtenaw County.

History
Founded in 1991, Northfield Human Services was formed to address the human service needs of Northfield Township. Under the direction of a number of dedicated individuals and with local business, club, and private citizen support, the organization initially sought to address the transportation needs of low income individuals within our community. As a result of these efforts, People's Express (PEX) transportation service was launched with only one bus and one driver. Today PEX has over 22 Buses, Vans, and Sedans and more than 10 dedicated drivers.
